Silvia Bonacossa

Head of legal function in an US Multinational IT Company, Xerox, I’m in charge of Legal Operations for three companies in Italy. I’m based in Milan where I was born, graduated and admitted to the bar. Having worked for Xerox since many years, from time to time, I’ve been in charge of legal support to some other European jurisdictions within the group and for some Paneuropean projects. My previous working experience has been in the insurance sector.

Beyond the Law

  • What is your favorite place in Europe and why?
    • North-West Italian coast, in particular Five Lands and surroundings, because the vineyards and villages overlooking the sea are witnesses of humanity resilience and creativity
  • What do you do outside work that keeps you grounded?
    • Volunteering, gardening and doing sports in touch with wild nature.
  • What belief or habit have you changed your mind about in the last few years?
    • The belief that I would have had time in future for myself: better find a reasonable balance and live in the moment.
