The collaboration between the ICC Institute of World Business Law, AIA and ICC Italia created the upcoming international conference “TOWARDS A TRANSNATIONAL APPROACH FOR CHOICE-OF-LAW CLAUSES” on September 11, 2015.

The conference draws the attention to the ability to overcome deadlocks and find solutions in negotiations especially when company lawyers are facing international parties.
A creative but efficient approach to the negotiations at international level and how to look for new ideas  are the main issue of this conference, which provides a wide range of possible solutions and practical tools at the disposal of the participants.

ABA Annual Meeting (Chicago)

Staged in its impressive Chicago headquarters, the American Bar Association’s (ABA) annual meeting provided three full days of high-quality legal education and events from July 31 to August 2.

The 2015 ABA agenda includes the presentation of programs by ABA Sections and Divisions in addition to showcase  programs with some of the major international representatives of the legal industry.
Needless to say, this conference represents not only a chance to conduct the important business of this association but also offers excellent opportunities to learn from and be inspired by lawyers, judges and students from around the country .

The Association Française des Juristes d’Entreprise (AFJE) attends the event sending its delegation to Chicago in order to strengthen the relations with ACC and to foster the support of the legal privilege for European professional.

U.S. – E.U. Legal Summit (Brussels)

The 2015 U.S. – E.U Legal Summit, organized by The American Lawyer Media, took place on the June 30, 2015 at the Steigenberger Hotel in Brussels. Ignacio García Bercero, EU Chief Negotiator of the TTIP for the European Commission gave a presentation on the cur-rent status of the negotiations. Three interesting debates took then place about whistleblowing, sanctions and TTIP. And as he did last year, ECLA Treasurer Jean Cattaruzza acted as Chairman.
